For many years now, humans have played a major role in species extinction through overharvesting, pollution, habitat destruction, and introduction of invasive species (such as new predators and food competitors), overhunting, and other influences. All beings live in an intricately wound web of codependency, hence it is hard to predict how the loss of one species impacts the other. If we are aware of their existence and understand how vital they are for our ecosystem, we can collectively ensure their survival. This books an attempt to help bring the enormity of what is happening within our grasps. Using the medium of visual communication, the book intends to create awareness about species extinction and reduce the sense of disconnection between us and the animal kingdom.
