We as humans are defined by our personality; these definitions are based on society, and society exists because of the evergreen values passed on by our ancestors. This is called "Cultural heritage", inherited traditions, values and culture. It is a bond shared and the sense of belonging to a community. It forms our identity; it relates us to the past and it shapes a path for our future.
Assam State Museum is the house of history for the Assamese society. In this evolving modern society the museum is one of the only foundations that still binds the people of this land to their culture. But, over the course of time the interaction between the people and their culture has been diminishing and the museum that still stands firm of its time hasn’t been able to catch up.
In this era of modernism, Assam state museum needs to act as a symbol of importance for "Cultural Heritage", to enhance the cultural presence amongst the new generations of this land and bring people together to learn more about their origin.
