Abstract

Since the 90’s, Bengaluru has attracted swarms of people due to its plethora of job and trade opportunities. It has marketed itself as the "Silicon Valley" of the country since the beginning of the technology boom. Throughout the years the population boom and rapid urbanization have left the once called, “city of lakes” in a situation that is leading to drought. Despite all the knowledge empowering and the ongoing efforts of water conservation, the outcome has been consistently insufficient in order to replenish the city’s water resources.

This project aims to find a unique solution that helps replenish the water resources of Bengaluru, little by little with the constant efforts of the citizens by empowering them with measures and knowledge that they could inculcate seamlessly in their daily lives. The goal is to bridge the gap between what they already know and what stops them from making their contribution to save water.
