Kabiruddin Sircar

An over curious individual, constantly driven by what lies beyond mankind’s perceptive boundaries. One, who believes that, it takes courage to extend our falloff of acceptance and acknowledgement to strive for a cohesive coexistence. I like to capture traces of life using any medium at my disposal, and weave a story through them, as I believe it is the best way to document a slice of the past or a situation. One can define me as an artist at heart and a filmmaker and designer by profession.

The Virtual Escape

Mixed Reality

Abstract

Traveling is a crucial part of one’s lifestyle. The act of traveling is considered to be a sort of meditation. It, in many ways, provides a tired mind a route of escape, perhaps a way to refresh and rejuvenate their souls. It contributes to the dispersion of negative thoughts and brings to us the meaning of life, our worth and our purpose. It abates the ego within each one of us hence resurfacing our true humble versions to ourselves.
Despite its ability of drawing out the best in us, it is quite unfortunate that not everyone in the given socio-economic setup are able to travel enough, and for some even basic outing is far-fetched. This could be due to numerous reasons. People have known to complain about not having the right reasons to travel or even the right people to travel with. People’s age can become a deterrent to their desires to travel or even their disability or their temporary injuries. With the ever changing individual and social systems of the society, where there is a constant struggle of keeping oneself from falling into a previously set pattern or a monotonous life protocol driven system, the need for a regular outing item on the calendar is getting all the more significant.
This research project is thus focused towards studying numerous trends of the how the future unfolds in front of us and how will the tourism industry transform within a period of one to two decades. The idea of this project is to bring about an innovative solution as to how can the area of virtual travel flourish in such devised future scenarios of the world.
