Namaste! I have a deep interest in design since childhood, my grandfather and father have been involved in sculpture design professionally. I was more inclined towards functional things, I used to dismantle a lot of things at home and see how they work. I joined engineering and with time I developed interest in Industrial design. And joined M. Des at IIT G, they taught me about the process of design and importance of design in our life, how both function and aesthetics give birth to a beautiful product. I aspire to work on amazing products and bring a significant change in people's life. For me Design is Freedom.

Abstract
This project deals with the significance of Smart Electric Truck designs for the welfare of Indian population. Indian truck industry has got spectacular growth in past years. The face of auto industry that was redefined with the invention of fuel-efficient technology is all set to see dawn of a new era in truck industry. It’s not petrol or diesel or any other fuel, but it is electricity that has initiated a revolution in truck industry globally.
Indian truck industry has embraced the new concept of Electric trucks that are very popular in the developed countries like North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia.
With the rising cost of fuel at International level, increasing levels of pollution and congestion in transport system especially in urban areas, higher running and maintenance cost of vehicle, the electrical technology has very bright future in area of transportation. Various stages of ideations and explorations are done followed by the conceptualization of functional mechanisms. Suitable concepts are listed and made into mockups and prototype for final design selection. A range of electric truck are designed which satisfies all the criteria that are prioritized and are refined for development.
